We love the earth and we hope you do too! Having that in mind we wanted to share some ideas on how to make this place a happier place to live on, also business and people that try their best to do so!
We divided these suggestions into sections from "effortless" to "requires time and work". Have a read bellow 😊✔
Effortless
Reducing animal product intake 🐄
Yes, we know, veganism. What a revolution... 🙄 However, we do not mean to fully stop using animal product, just being mindful about the quantities and where the product is coming from. It has a greater impact than you might think.
Go thrifting 👗
Thrifting is hard work and we know it's not for everyone. It takes time to plan a trip, look through all the available items, find quality pieces etc. However, it's super fun! Not only you are supporting a charity, but also saving some items from landfills. It can also be a very fun DIY project.
Watch "Seaspiracy" on Netflix 🌊
This recent documentary has opened our eyes to the dangers of the fishing industry, and how it affects marine life and us.
Requires some effort
Support a charity 💸
Might not be very time consuming but can cost you money. It does not have to be much, every little helps to save the planet! We will link our fave charities below:
Sell/donate your unwanted items 👚
This does not cost you anything and might even make you money, but it sure is time-consuming. We love doing this every year when the season changes. It can be fun and will allow you to free up some space. Try Depop, Vinted, eBay or Vestiaire Collective (for the luxury goods).
Requires time and effort
Volunteer ✌
It can be as easy as taking your family or friends to a local park to pick up rubbish that people leave behind or it can be as intricate as going to Brazil to save the rainforest. The world of volunteering is your oyster. We are leaving a link below to check out some destination volunteering options. It might be hard work, but you might get a cute tan and save trees 🌳
